Departments galore
The intake at IIT's have increased!!!
9% per year!!!
no infra in existing departments, rooms falling small, already a huge burden on professors, blah blah....
So, how does IIT Bombay plan to implement this rise in intake??
Ans. Increase the number of departments!!
After the HUGE success of Department of Energy Science offspringing from ME, the Humanities and Social Sciences Department is seriously (:)) considering opening up a Department of Despo Engineering initially at PG level.
Currently they have thought of a few course:
DE101: Visual aids
DE301: Bandi pataana
DE316: Bandi pataana lab [:)]
These courses can be taken by UG students who have to take electives from HSS.
These courses are definitely better than Environment sciences anyway!!
